Bruce Barham: Bruce Barham is blessed to serve as the Vice President of the Good News for Africa Board and has been a member of the Alexandria Presbyterian Church since 2009 where he has served in the mercy ministries of the church.

 

David Bisimwa: David Bisimwa is a teacher at Complex Scolaire Le Merite where our children are attending school now. David tutors our children outside of school and provides pastoral care to our children six days a week.

 

Didier Balagizi: Didier holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the DRC, where he worked for the petrochemical firm Ginki. He immigrated to the U.S. in 2012 and currently works for Alexandria (Virginia) Transit Company. He is earning an Associate’s Degree in Cyber Security from Northern Virginia Community College. Didier is also a pastoral intern and elder with Alexandria Presbyterian Church and directs the church’s international outreach ministry. Didier and his wife Sifa are proud parents of four young children.

 

Eleanor Nagy: Eleanor Nagy is Treasurer of the Good News for Africa Board. She has been a member of the Alexandria Presbyterian Church since 2004 and considers it a privilege to serve alongside Didierand Sifa Balagizi in caring for the Good News for Africa children.

 

Jim Taft: Jim Taft spent his career addressing water pollution control and safe drinking water issues at the local, state, national, and international levels. He now enjoys quasi-retirement and supporting important causes, such as Good News for Africa and the ministries of his local church(Alexandria Presbyterian Church).

 

Rich Nielsen: Rich Nielsen is a former Navy Officer and lawyer. He is currently a business owner in Alexandria, VA.

 

Sayba Balagizi: Sayba Balagizi works a bakery manager of the Kaboyi Company in Bukavu in the DRC. Sayba is now assisting Sifa Matchara and 3 other women to take care of our children and he also works to provide executive oversight of the children’s care within the orphanage.
